Home & house extensions

Is your home starting to feel a little outdated? A well-designed home extension or renovation can transform an ordinary house into the home you've always wanted, without the upheaval, cost, and compromise of moving.

With almost three decades of experience designing house extensions, home renovations and full remodels across Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, and the wider East Midlands, I bring a tailored, design-led approach to every project. Whether you're after an open-plan kitchen extension, a full house renovation, or a sensitive update to a period property, my focus is always on creating spaces that are both beautiful and genuinely practical to live in.

I work closely with you from the very first conversation, developing a design that reflects how you actually live, then guiding you through planning permission, building regulations, and construction, right through to project completion. Many of my home extension and renovation projects sit within conservation areas or Green Belt land, so I'm well versed in navigating local planning requirements across Nottingham and the surrounding villages.

Architect for house renovation and home remodelling

A renovation often starts with a simple frustration: the layout doesn’t work, the rooms feel dark, or the house has outgrown you. As an architect, I’ll help you work out what’s worth changing, whether that’s a full home remodel, opening up the ground floor, or adding an extension, and design something that suits how you live.

I look after the planning and building regulations applications too, and where it helps you decide, I can produce 3D models so you can see the result before work begins. Get in touch to talk through your house.
