About the project
Designed Around Daylight
We designed a modern home to exacting standards, low maintenance, highly insulated, and well day-lit throughout. The house sits on the plot to make the best use of the sun's path across the sky, providing gardens to the east, south and west of the house and daylight penetration deep into the interior.
Connecting to the Garden
Ground floor living rooms all connect with the gardens, while a central atrium with skylights fills the heart of the house with daylight.
Key features
A bespoke feature staircase forms the centrepiece of the home, alongside an open-plan layout designed around family life. (See the separate Staircase page for more on this feature.)
