119 Lambley Lane
About the project
Following the successful extension and remodelling of their property in 2011, our clients commissioned us to design their new “forever home.”
Sectioning off part of their extensive garden, the design features a single-storey residence that wraps around the Eastern and Northern site boundaries to capitalise on day and evening sunlight, views to adjacent ancient woodlands, create privacy both to the interior and garden areas and to create a seamless connection with the landscape.
While the property includes three large double bedrooms, the layout is carefully curated to feel intimate and manageable for a couple. The guest wing is strategically positioned to be closed off when not in use, ensuring the home retains a cozy, personal atmosphere even when family and friends are not visiting.
The design concept centres on high ceilings and open-plan living spaces that flow effortlessly into one another, with every room oriented to maximize the relationship between the interior and the external patio and garden.
Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2026, and we are thrilled to begin bringing this dream to life.
